A very special welcome...

Inside the Aidan RooomIf you’re in Northumberland for a short break, then St Cuthbert's House is the perfect base for your visit. You get to stay in a truly unique 200 year-old former church, full of character, yet brimming with high quality facilities and attention to detail in every aspect. St Cuthbert's House is much more than just ‘a place to stay’!

The 'About St Cuthbert's House' pages will give you lots of information about each of the rooms available. Whichever one you choose, it will be serviced and cleaned for you each day.

You have a 22 inch LCD digital television with Freeview in your roomWhen you're not out and about, you can relax in the comfort of your lovely room - you have internet access and LCD TV available there - or you can take in the spendour of the Cuthbert Room, the lovely communal space.

Breakfast!Jill’s fantastic breakfasts will set you up for the longest of days. They can be enjoyed with a clear conscience too – they’re even ‘healthy’ as we never fry anything, and we use the very best locally produced food wherever we can. Meat from our national-award-winning local butcher, free-range eggs from local farms, local potatoes, and hand-made speciality jams and marmalades will all be available to your large breakfast plate.

If you fancy an action-packed stay, we can book all sorts of activities for you to enjoy - such as golf, guided walks, bike hire, salmon-fishing, a microlight flight or a flying lesson, scuba-diving - or tickets to everywhere. What do you want to do?

Or, if you want to pamper yourself (or someone else?!) we can arrange a reflexology treatment or a full-body massage here, with our good friend Jean, who is a wonderful practitioner, and a lovely person.
