We are delighted to welcome award-winning landscape and travel photographer David Taylor to St Cuthbert’s House as tutor for our Photography Holidays.

David was born and brought up in Newcastle upon Tyne and now lives in Hexham, Northumberland. And although his photography has taken him all over the world, his first love remains the rugged beauty of the coast and countryside of his home county.

His work from our region has featured in a number of national magazines, most notably ‘Beautiful Britain’ and ‘Outdoor Photography’, and is regularly used by the Northumberland National Park Authority in its promotional and marketing materials.

David’s passion for the landscapes of Northumberland, his comprehensive knowledge of the county and his extensive photographic experience, make him the perfect host for our Photography Holidays. His good-humoured nature will put you at your ease, and you can be assured of a happy, relaxed and informal atmosphere in which to enjoy building on your photography skills.

Places are limited to six photographers, so as to ensure that there is as much one-to-one time with David as you might need.
