We found it surprisingly difficult to find eco-friendly yet luxurious toiletries for your bedroom - but have now settled on some lovely Gilchrist & Soames lotions and potions. They're made using natural ingredients, and without parabens or other potentially harmful chemicals. And they smell nice too.

We thought their claims were 'too good to be true' when we first heard about them, and decided cautiously to give them a try. Trust me, they have changed our life. They're as good as the claims make out...
We host our website with a company who are serious about carbon offsetting and reducing their energy consumption on a per-client basis. They approach these issues with honesty and integrity.
Of course, we separate all our rubbish that can be recycled. Most of it goes in the blue bin, but we still need to take the glass to the bottle bank in the village.
For several years we've sponsored aspects of the Seahouses Festival - as well as getting our sleeves rolled up to fetch, carry and operate PA equipment during the Festival weekend. We've even played there too. And they invited us back.
We try to minimise the amount of detergent we use, and only use the washing machine and dishwasher when we have a full load - which is ridiculously often.
